Who we are
Woodlawn Park Church of Christ is at 7222 Ambassador Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244. This policy explains what this site and the Woodlawn Park app collect and how the church uses it.
Information you give us
If you submit a prayer request, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, email address, the request itself, and whether you asked for it to be public or private. If you join Stay in the Loop, we collect the email address you enter.
What other people can see
Private requests go only to church leadership. A public request is reviewed by leadership before it can appear on the prayer wall. The wall shows your first name, the initial of your last name, and the request. It does not show your phone number or email.
How we use it
We use this information to pray with you, follow up when needed, publish requests you asked to share, and send church updates to people who joined the newsletter. We do not sell personal information, and the site does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Where it is stored
Prayer requests and newsletter addresses are stored in Google Firebase, the church’s database. Google processes that information for the church. Service times, events, and the weekly highlight are also read from that database.
Reporting a prayer
Public prayers are approved by church leadership before they are shown. If a prayer on the wall should be removed, email info@woodlawnpark.org. Include the prayer if you can, and we will review it.
Correction and deletion
Email info@woodlawnpark.org to correct or delete a prayer request you submitted, or to leave the newsletter. Tell us the email you used so we can find it.
Children
The site is a church directory of services, events, and prayer. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
